I bought this product looking to go a bit darker (closer to my natural hair color). Since my hair was lighter than what they recommended, I didn't get the dark brown color. However, what resulted was this BEAUTIFUL dark auburn color! I love it! I plan to keep using this every couple of months to get the color on the box. Natural Instincts is one of my favorite brands because it doesn't have ammonia in it. The colors stay true to the box. as long as you're within the recommended hair color range.
