Review of Aubrey Organics - Natural Baby & Kids Shampoo, 8 fl oz liquid

I bought this shampoo at the local health food store because it was more reasonably priced than Burts Bees stuff. The price seems like a lot, but you only need such a tiny amount of it at a time that the bottle lasts forever. It also smells great and lathers really well, without being too sudsy. It's not tear-free, but it rinses so easily that it's not really an issue. It doesn't stick to everything and leave that slimy residue like most baby shampoos and washes do. I've even gotten a small amount in my son's eyes on accident and he didn't really seem too bothered by it. It leaves his hair a little dry, but other than that I love it and plan to use it with my next baby, as well.

Product Description
Our natural soap base cleanses gently, while almond oil, camomile and balm-mint soothe and hydrate baby's hair and scalp. (Not a "no tears" formula.) INGREDIENTS: Deionized Water, Coconut Oil, Liquid Protein, Fennel Extract, Hops Extract, Balm-mint Extract, Mistletoe Extract, Camomile Extract, Yarrow Extract, Allantoin (Comfrey Root Extract), Vanilla and Almond Oils, Aubrey's Preservative (Citrus Seed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E).

Review of Aubrey Organics - Selenium Natural Blue Shampoo, 11 fl oz liquid

Aubrey Organics Selenium Natural Blue Shampoo is runny even after I shake it, and I had to use a ton of it to get it through my hair because the liquid is so thin. It doesn't lather, so if you like a shampoo to lather, look elsewhere. Also, I didn't notice any less itching after 2 weeks of use, but I did notice an oily build-up. I shampoo every other day, but when I used this shampoo I HAD to shampoo every day because of all the oil in the shampoo that would not rinse out. Don't believe what you read on the Aubrey Organics website. If you look closely, the reviews seems to be scripted as they use the same phrases again and again like "it keeps my scalp in check", and there isn't a single negative review so it is biased.

I did find an Aubrey product that worked for me, but too bad I wasted nearly $9 on the Selenium shampoo. The Calaguala Fern Shampoo, although created for oily/fine hair, did wonders for my thick hair and really does deep down clean without stripping the hair. I follow up with their GPB conditioner, but I don't put it on my scalp because I don't need the extra oil there.

Product Description
Soothing herbal shampoo tones and moisturizes the scalp and helps remove buildup. High in selenium, a mineral very beneficial to some dry scalp conditions, and sulfur-rich amino acids, very nourishing to the hair.

Review of Aubrey Organics Natural Missst Herbal Hairspray - Super Hold (8 oz)

This stuff holds the hair just fine, but I can't get past the smell...it's just awful! I have considered buying some essential oil of one smell or another and adding it to the hair spray just to make it smell better. I don't know if this would make it lose its' holding properties, but as it is now I don't use it, so if it failed after that addition, oh well.

Product Description
Stronger formula keeps hard-to-hold hair in place all day. Extra gum arabic gives more holding power, and amino acids, vitamins and a little PABA nourish and protect.

Review of Aubrey Organics - Island Natural Shampoo, 11 fl oz liquid

I bought the Aubrey Organics Island Natural Shampoo.I like the scent. It smells like AllSpice, which is one of the ingredients listed. It lathered much better than expected.I had always heard that natural products did not lather as well, but this was not the case.I like that it does not contain Lauryl Sulfate and many of the other ingredients that are bad for our health and enviornment.I do not like the idea that by using a shampoo, I am killing fish and other wildlife. It cleaned my hair well, and I am considering purchasing the Conditioner, as my hair tends to be dry at times.

Review of Aubrey Organics - Island Natural Conditioner, 11 fl oz liquid

The only reason I'm giving this one 4 stars instead of 5 is just personal scent preference. It smells a bit like
Old Spice - which is a little more masculine than I usually prefer. Also - it would be great if it came in a larger size, because I go through it quite quickly. But apart from that - this is a fantastic conditioner - unlike most "organic" and "natural" hair and skin care products - Aubrey Organics really is completely natural - no chemicals or icky additives snuck in - even their preservatives are chemical free - managing to find things in nature to do the trick.
I've been going back and forth for a few years trying to find the perfect hair care line for my hair (Its hip length, and I plan to continue growing it out). Of all the shampoos and conditioners I've ever used, Aubrey's has been the asbolute best - health wise as well as results wise...
This type of conditioner is absolutely great for dry hair - and if the scent had been a tad bit less masculine it would have easily gotten 5+ stars! :-)

Review of Aubrey Organics - Natural Mist Herbal Hairspray (Super Hold), 8 fl oz spray

This stuff does not smell great but it sure will hold your hair in place! It is not a flexible hold. In fact, it's stiff. Great for a windy day though and won't damage your hair.

Review of Aubrey Organics - Natural Mist Herbal Hairspray (Regular Hold), 8 fl oz spray

Aubrey Organics - Natural Mist Herbal Hairspray (Regular Hold), 8 fl oz sprayThis hairspray provides a natural shiny look and hold to the hair. It is gentle in that it does not dry it out like other hairsprays and it does not contain artificial ingredients (no parabens). It is a little pricey but worth it since I feel that what you apply to your body will eventually get absorbed into your body.

Herbal gums hold hair softly in place and sulfur-rich amino acids nourish the hair shaft. Plus a touch of PABA for sun protection. Comes in two sizes. INGREDIENTS: Natural Grain Alcohol, Gum Arabic, Inositol, Calcium Pantothenate (Vitamin B-5), Sulfur-Containing Amino Acids (Methionine and Cysteine), para-Aminobenzoic Acid (PABA), Vegetable Glycerin, Deionized Water, Aubrey's Preservative (Citrus Seed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E), Horse Chestnut Extract, Linoleic Acid (Vitamin F), Biotin, Balsam Oil, Rose Musk Oil, Organic Carrot Oil.
