Review of Hugo Naturals - French Lavender Shampoo, 16 oz

I tried this shampoo at the recommendation of a staffer at Whole Foods. For years I've used Aubrey shampoos exclusively because of their unparalleled purity, but Aubrey products are getting quite expensive and Whole Foods isn't stocking them very regularly, either. So I thought I'd give it a try. Wow! One shampoo with this stuff, and my hair is suddenly dry and brittle like straw. It's harsh! I'm using it as hand soap instead. For hair, I'm going back to Aubrey SHAMPOO SPECIAL CARE Swimmers Normalizing Shampoo 16 oz and Aubrey Organics - Camomile Luxurious Volumizing Shampoo, 16 fl oz no matter the cost. And I'm getting a nice summer buzz cut to get rid of all that damaged hair. Hugo away!

Looking for a truly natural hair care, this is the only line that does not have any harmful chemicals, preservatives etc.Many products claim to be natural and even organic but still have chemicals etc, but not HUGO.I only use Hugo.

I use this shampoo on my color treated hair and I do not have much wash on my color during the month.I have itchy scalp, but it is not dandruff, but is a condition caused by the sulfate that is put in shampoo.I think if people started looking at what kinds of chemicals are put it shampoo and conditioners they would look to use more natural products.

This shampoo is truly all natural, great smelling, and gentle. I love that it is all natural ingredients, and I am not covering my kids in chemicals. Works great and leaves my kids hair shiny and soft. I but this shampoo and conditioner over and over.
