I Love this shampoo.. (and the conditioner as well)..The ONLY real problem with it is availability and price.. When (more like "IF") I am able to find it, the price has always gone up..When I first tried it, it was like $6.00 for each...then I went back, and it went up a dollar.. next time up another dollar.. Now no one in my area carries it.. so I have to order it online. I recommend this whole heartedly.

I am trying to go all-natural with all my personal products. Finding a good shampoo has been the most difficult. Of all the ones I've tried, this one is my favorite so far. Lathers well and keeps my color. Also, unlike most natural products, the smell of this shampoo is subtle. (I hate things that are too smelly!)
Word of warning- wrap it up well if you take it with you traveling. I had some leak on clothes and they were permanently stained.

I have been using this conditioner for a few years now and it is honestly the BEST conditioner I have ever used. I use it as a regular conditioner, but also as a conditioning treatment. It makes my hair extremely shiny and silky. As soon as you rinse your hair you will see the difference. Even my hairdresser always comments on how shiny and soft my hair is. I have fine hair that breaks easily so this has made a world of difference for me. It smells nice too.

My girlfriend suggested I try this because I had used the JASON max hold hairspray, which is also organic, but it is more expensive from Whole Foods stores. I thought this stuff stinks. It smells awful and it is really a lighter hold hairspray. If you want to stick with the JASON brand, try one of their others which are more pleasing to the senses and hold a lot better. The other thing was that every bottle of this stuff got clogged and the sprayer never sprayed evenly.

I have coarse, curly hair that has always been dry, and to add to that I have colored it for the past 15 years straight. (with naturcolor, great natural hair dye BTW) I have been addicted to biolage for probably 10 years or so, but all the chemicals in it don't make me feel very comfortable using it. This conditioner has finally cured me of my biolage dependency. When I first used this conditioner I was skeptical because it doesn't slip into your hair and detangle it, like I am used to good conditioners doing. It sort of stays were I put it, so I have to use alot. Then I twisted my hair up in a clip and let it sit while I did my other shower-ley duties.I rinsed it out after 10 min. or so and my hair felt okay, but not smooth and baby soft. HOWEVER when it dried I was like wow! It makes my hair feel healthy and shiny, but not plastic like, just a natural shine. It helps with my frizz, and now I've used it for a week and couldn't be happier! I have never used a natural conditioner that is this effective. I highly recommend for dry frizzy hair.

I have been searching for an organic shampoo.I was using Aubrey's Camomile shampoo.I was happy with that except for the fact that it smelled so bad.When I tried Jason, I loved it.My hair felt clean and soft.The only problem is my head starts to itch horrendously a little afterwards, so I did some research.On the bottle, it mentioned that it contains no Parabens or Sodium Luryl/laureth sulfates, but in the ingredient list, it listed something called Sodium Myreth Sulfate.I was wondering what this Soduim Myreth Sulfate is another form of detergent.[...]

I am extremely disappointed.INSTEAD OF TRYING TO FIND A BETTER SOLUTION, JASON ONLY DECIDED TO PATCH UP THE PROBLEM BY REPLACING ONE CHEMICAL WITH ANOTHER.And they have the audacity to put NO SODIUM LORYL SULFATE on the front to TRICK PEOPLE INTO BUYING IT.As much as I love the smell of the shampoo.It didn't solve anything.I might as well just go back to my old non organic Shampoo if I want something with this sulfate stuff in it.. and like I said "MY HEAD WAS ITCHING!!"

Nice alternative for someone who is conscious of natural products and what is and is not in products. This is the only product I've found that does not have laurel/laureth sulphates or parabens in it.Only difficulty I have run into is that it really dries out my hair (which is already dry from the color treatment).Highly recommend using with the Color Treated Conditioner (not trying to sell additional product).I've learned that I need to wash my hair twice, with the conditioning done between the washes, for my hair to be manageable.Occasionally I need to use another product to bring volume back to the cuticles.Really impressed with this shampoo.Wish it was easier to find.

I can not say enough good things about this shampoo. I've used lots of other brands including, Natures Gate, Pantene, Garnier, Biolage, Treseme, Head and Shoulders and on and on. I love this shampoo. It's natural,cleans well, yet doesn't dry out my scalp. I can even skip a couple of days between washing. It works really well with it's conditioner. Finally my hair is healthy, shiny and clean.
