I am not a beautician. I color my own hair and Clairol always works for me. The price is always reasonable. My hair stylist tells me to buy a semi-permanent dye, but these are hard to find. Semi-permanent looks more natural when you need a touch up. This product is a permanent dye.

Review of Clairol Nice 'n Easy Color, 130 Medium Reddish Brown (Pack of 3)

I normally dye my hair about once a month, I've used all different kinds of store-bought dyes from Loreal to Garnier to Revlon to this kind. This kind in particular compared to other kinds made my hair fall out in clumps. It also dyed my hair black not a medium reddish brown, even though I kept it in for only the time given on the directions. I hate the color and it's thinning my regular hair, I might have to go to the salon to get it fixed now: (
