Review of Sally Hansen Naturally Bare Honey Wax Body

I'll cut right to the chase -

the wax was too sticky and created a mess all over my legs, hands, bathroom floor and table. It was just too gooey and I couldn't do a proper job, cause of how sticky everything got.

I don't feel like the wax did the best job it could do and left my leg withwelts and still peach fuzz hair every here and there.

Not over-ally bad, not over-ally good - I wouldn't choose this wax from a bunch in front of me though, that's for sure.

Review of Sally Hansen Brazilian Extra-Strength Wax & Shape Kit

If you don't like this stuff, you're using it wrong.

I love this wax. I just started using it last summer.

It doesn't come with any strips. You apply it like regular wax, and wait for it to solidify a little bit. You dont have to flatten it out to get it to stick to the hairs like you do with the cloth/paper strips. Thats because this is a better type of wax. Its special at getting hairs down under...

It comes with a small pair of trimming scissors, a few popsicle stick applicators, a cloth pair of underwear...which i dont understand lol...and wax, and this azulene oil.

The oil is for getting the little bits of wax off after you're done. You can apply it using a cotton ball, and the wax is so easy to remove.

It lasts for a couple weeks. I don't really keep track. Maybe like a month depending on how fast your hair grows.

And yes, its gonna be painful. But its something that you get used to. I actually like to wax now.And my husband likes it also! :)

This product was such a waste of money. I don't think it pulled out even ONEhair! It was completely and totally worthless. DO NOT buy this product, it was horrible and did not work in the slightest.

Review of Sally Hansen Complete Care 4-N-1 X-Moist Treatment .5 oz.

I have nothing nice to say about this product, or any Sally Hansen product for that matter. I happened to purchase this product only after I could not locate my favorite Barielle nail care products at my local drugstores.

BIG BIG MISTAKE!!

Within a few short weeks of using these products, my nails started breaking, chipping and peeling in layers, which is something that has never happened to me before! My once perfect ten (thanks to Barielle nail care products, shameless plug!) had become a hideous ragged mess!

If I were smart I would have asked the beauty experts at the drugstores; their main consensus in my area was that Sally Hansen products are 'inferior' compared to the others. I couldn't agree more!

I have since managed to find my Barielle products again and am honestly amazed at how fast my nails are recovering and growing after this fiasco.

My SH products are now in the dumpster where they belong!

I have been using this creme for a couple of years and its getting hard to find in the stores.It was nice to find it still available online.thanks.This product also smells better than some of the other cremem hair removers.

Review of Sally Hansen Hair Remover Spray-On Shower Off 6 oz.

I have literally been waiting for this to show up online so I can tell people how awful this product is. I am usually not this harsh w/ a product, but I can't help it. I am only giving it 1 star b/c it's a good concept (& that's as low as Amazon will let us rate!).

I know this is sort of a long reveiw for a beauty product, but PLEASE read! And yes, even though I have used other hair removers, I did the "allergy" test as suggested on the can, & I still had a reaction.

Bottle states, "Drip free spray for Legs, Body, Arms & More" "Soothing Botanicals" "Great Vanilla Scent"... It is none of those things. First of all, if you plan on using it for more than your legs, you will need more than 1 container (but I strongly encourage you not to purchase this at all!!!). I started w/ my arms & did not have enough to finish my legs: just over my knees; and I am just your average size.

2nd-- No, it doesn't drip, it sprays all over the place!! Luckily, I wasstanding in my shower w/ the curtain shut. It clogs & does not spray evenly at all. Also, makes the shower VERY slippery!

3rd-- The can says to wait 3 minutes, test an area & leave on no more than 10 minutes total if hair does not wipe off easily. I tested after 3 min, & was planning on leaving it on a little longer. After 2 more minutes, my skin was on fire!! I couldn't get it off fast enough. It was hard not to rub, as my skin was itching so bad, but I didn't want to irritate it anymore. My skin was so red & splotchy, & I even had a few bumps (not too many, though)... it looked horrible. I even had co-workers ask me what happened the next day!

4th-- It didn't even remove most of the hair!! And my skin was too irritated to even shave the remaining. Even when I tried, the hair seemed to actually be *melted* into my skin-- would NOT come off!!!

Just as an end note, it doesn't smell bad at first (although, it doesn't smell like vanilla, either), but after you have it on, it smells like any other hair remover. And the scent does not wash off. For the next 3 or 4 days (NO EXAGERATION), after my skin would get wet in the shower, it would smell like the remover.

I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! :(

I left it on for 10 minutes, then rinsed it off, also used a washcloth, and it worked great! Am looking forward to using it all summer long!!
