I do not find this product to be very conditioning at all and therefore do not find it to help protect against breakage. It does not leave your hair easy to comb out (conditioned), thus resulting in breakage. We use hair conditioner for a reason - to soften it and make it easier to comb, etc. This product does not do that. The regular Pantene Relaxed and Natural conditioner is so much better, plus it is a much bigger bottle. I would not waste my time or money trying this product. I do not recommend it.
