I bought this flat iron for my recent trip to Germany and France. This iron worked well overseas, as well as back home. I didn't need to buy a power converter, only an adapter. While I specifically bought it for my trip, I now use it regularly at home too. I am biracial and have curly, frizz-prone hair. This iron does a good job of taming frizz. I like the curls I get from this better than my curling iron, and they last longer. Now this straightener can't do spiral curls, but you can flip your hair under. It doesn't get as hot as my other flat iron, which is probably a good thing. I am very pleased with this iron and would buy it again.Product Description
